Types of Therapy We Offer
Individualized Treatment
We assess every individual that comes through our doors in order to identify which types of treatment options might be the most impactful on a case-by-case basis. Since we see every person as an individual, we recognize how counterintuitive it would be to stick to a rigid one-size-fits-all approach. Utilizing the plethora of treatment techniques and therapeutic offerings we provide, each individual will have a treatment plan which is customized to them. And while we do offer group outpatient programs and group support, you will have a balanced mix between your personalized sessions and your group classes.
Group Sessions
The value of a group session is in the social connection and peer support while learning about things such as coping skills. Having a group to practice these types of skills has proven to be more effective than in a one-on-one environment. In addition to the learning aspect, the camaraderie around shared experiences can help our clients feel like they are not alone in their struggles, an important factor in recovery and mental wellness.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing (EMDR)
Psychotherapy treatment that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with unprocessed traumatic memories and experiences. This approach is focused on retraining the brain to be able to move out of the “Fight. Flight, or Freeze” response and process the trauma to a point of significantly reduced sensitization to the trauma trigger. This type of therapy has been proven to significantly improve the experience of the patient and we have seen very amazing results from this clinical approach.
Life Skills
Supporting you with after treatment plans is a very important part of recovery. Simple Path utilizes Academics, Volunteering, and Employment to assist you with reintegrating into the outside community. It helps you successfully transition out of treatment by supporting you with direction, goals, and a road map for your future. As you progress through your individualized recovery program, you will start working with a dedicated counselor, to begin this important step toward creating a sober, fulfilling life after treatment. This service is available to you in our partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs.
QEEG Neurofeedback & Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
Non-invasive treatment approach to map, analyze, train and self-regulate oneself. A clear and focused mind, where every emotion and thought finds its purpose, free from the anchors of addiction, depression, ADHD, anxiety and so much more.
